Artistry Auditions........"AA"

WOW, the response from all of you talented people has been amazing!! It makes us feel like we are doing the right thing for all of you. There are so many passionate people out there who love what they do, and that's exactly what we're looking for.

Here's some things you should know:

For those of you who have been contacted for the next step, congratulations!! The only other process is your "AA", Artistry Audition. Unlike a typical audition, we need to see you in the environment that you're most comfortable in as an artist. This way we get to witness the real you...."a working artist". These auditions will most likely be an actual on set job with one of our Lollipop Artists. You will be contacted about doing a photo shoot, a video shoot, an event, etc..., but this is the only time you won't get paid working with us, unless we find you TF jobs for tear sheets (those who need them). Think of the audition as just a collaboration, and if you're what we're looking for, then be ready to work. I know some of you are busy, and booked up, but we can work something out. If you feel like you shouldn't have to audition, you're probably at a different level in your career, and that's great. However, if you are more advanced, tell us what you're working on and we can discuss holding workshops with you as the guest artist. The possibilities are endless!!

It would be impossible for us to meet with you all one by one, so we have some options to link up with me on some small port building projects. We will be contacting you via email.

Thank you all so much for the positive feedback and responses, we are trying to build something great here, and we appreciate you all for your time and talent.

LOLLIPOP ARTISTRY launches in Los Angeles...

Lollipop Artistry

is one of the country's emerging premier image branding companies. A supreme artist collective, representing make up artists, hair and wardrobe stylists, photographers, and other wellness professionals.

We embrace and support all artists and new businesses in their quest for creative excellence. Educating our clients in consistency, and the importance of using image as a tool, we take a team approach to their visual representation. In an industry where standing out or making a name for yourself is crucial, we want to provide that personal touch to a sometimes impersonal industry. Arranging the right team for specific client needs, allows us to do just that. Sitting down with management, publicists, marketing directors, and the client, we offer a boutique style business with corporate sophistication.

Bringing the art of allure to you in any form, aesthetically pleasing at all times, our services allow your concepts to come to life. Your image is our business.

ABOUT US

Working on faces, or around fashion for most of their careers, they became the "go-to" people whenever someone needed advice on their image or style. That's why they've decided to make it easier for anyone to receive information on how to learn, feel, and look more beautiful.

Lollipop Artistry is committed to creative excellence and here's why...

Cc Moten

Born and raised in Los Angeles, the place where stars are made, it's no wonder celebrity make up artist CC Moten, is becoming one herself. Growing up the eldest of six siblings, she was always learning and watching her mother. As a little girl she would sit on the side of the bathtub every morning as her mom got ready for work, wanting to imitate how she looked, CC began to sneak and apply make up on herself. Once at school, she would show her friends what she had done, and encourage them to try make up themselves. Needless to say, this self-proclaimed make up addict, got an early start.

She first thought her professional career would be a music video director, but after completing esthetician and cosmetology school, that idea was short lived. A trainer at Smashbox Cosmetics quickly recruited her to manage one of their many locations. As her love for the world of cosmetics grew, she then gave MAC the next 5 years of her creativity. Not only managing one of their many successful stores but also in helping their customers look fabulous for many events. The beautiful artistry that was coming from her hands, made her the most requested make up artist at her location. It wasn't long before her regulars wanted personal service in the privacy of their own homes, and the rest they say is history.

After 10 years and counting, working with some of today's biggest names like P. Diddy, Ashanti, Akon, and Eve just to name a few, CC has definitely made her mark. Her work has graced the pages of magazines such as KING, VIBE, Allure, and In Style. Client appearances on Good Morning America, MTV, Nickelodeon, Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel, and Tyra Banks have showcased her flawless work as well. When music videos, photo shoots, or red carpet events aren't on her agenda, teaching the art of make up is what CC loves to do.

Lollipop Artistry is your direct connection to anything beauty, fashion, and creative!..............This blog will allow them to give you a sneak peak at what they're doing behind the scenes, as well as their fellow artists. You will see some of your favorite celebs prepare for their close ups, while they share tips, tricks, and other style secrets with you along the way. Also, each month we will feature a new artist on the scene, that is making "art" happen. We will also pay tribute with art to different eras...

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

There are so many make up artists out there, and everyone has their own technique. There are many ways to execute the same beauty techniques, but depending on eye shape, eyebrows, etc...the make up will come out different. There are also certain specialties that come with talent that can't be taught when it comes to make up.

Flawless make up is beautiful, well-blended, complimenting to the bone structure, clean, and it looks even more amazing close up. The term "Far"less make up came from seeing so much make up that looked good from a distance, but horrible close up. This type of make up looks choppy, displaced, not blended, just random and not thought out. How would you want your make up to look?

Lollipop Artistry offers many trainings that are taught by the industry's elite in make up, hair, modeling, fashion, and photography. We always like to update our skills with new ideas and new techniques, and we want to share that opportunity with everyone. Whatever you're passionate about, you should always seek ways to become better at your craft, network with like minds, and be open to trying something new.

It's one thing to say you work in the industry, but what keeps you there is what counts. As an artist, your work should speak for itself. Everyone has a signature style that is recognized by their fans, just as a musician's voice is. Let us assist you in being recognized.

"The purpose of learning is growth, and our minds, unlike our bodies, can continue growing as long as we live."
Mortimer Adler
